Gonda District Gets Recognition for Pickleball from Uttar Pradesh Association Dr. Pratyush Raj Appointed District Secretary; Pickleball Training Centre to Start Soon

Gonda: With the growing popularity of pickleball, children in Gonda district will now get an opportunity to participate in state- and national-level competitions in the sport. Under the banner of the Uttar Pradesh Pickleball Association, Dr. Pratyush Raj, Secretary of the Gonda Taekwondo Association, has been appointed as the District Secretary and entrusted with the responsibility of establishing and operating the Gonda Pickleball Association.
The Uttar Pradesh Pickleball Association formally entrusted Dr. Pratyush Raj with the responsibility of District Secretary and presented him with the necessary application documents and certificate. The association expressed confidence that, like other districts of Uttar Pradesh, pickleball would be promoted on a wider scale in Gonda, with more boys and girls being encouraged to take up the sport, develop their talent and build a bright future through sports.
The Pickleball Association of Uttar Pradesh is recognized by the Uttar Pradesh Olympic Association. In view of the growing popularity of the sport and upcoming state- and national-level competitions, players from Gonda will now have new opportunities to showcase their talent in pickleball and pursue a future in the sport. Dr. Pratyush Raj has been entrusted with the responsibility of managing the district organization and conducting its activities.
On the occasion, Dr. Pratyush Raj said that a pickleball training centre will soon be started in Gonda district. Interested boys and girls will be provided professional training and prepared for upcoming competitions. He expressed confidence that players from Gonda will participate in future pickleball competitions and bring pride to the district.
On the appointment of Dr. Pratyush Raj as District Secretary, District Sports Officer Ranjeet Raj, Dr. O.N. Pandey, Santosh Gupta, Ayushi Srivastava, Dr. Jyotsna Shukla, Dr. Rakesh Srivastava, Dr. Abhay Srivastava, Vivek Mani Srivastava, Umesh Shah, Sanju Chhabra, and several other sports enthusiasts congratulated him and extended their best wishes.
Dr. Anand Pandey, Senior Vice President and Acting President of the Uttar Pradesh Pickleball Association, presented the certificate to Dr. Pratyush Raj and congratulated him on his new responsibility.
