He stated that if the youth remain healthy, educated, and committed to humanitarian values, the vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047” can certainly be realized. Prof. Mittal further remarked that regular blood donation is not merely a medical necessity but also a remarkable expression of humanity, compassion, service, and social responsibility. Through voluntary blood donation, countless lives can be saved; therefore, every healthy citizen should donate blood at regular intervals. He also urged social activists to promote awareness about organ donation alongside blood donation so that more lives can be saved.
The central theme of the ceremony focused on the global impact of blood donation awareness. The speakers appreciated NIFAA for achieving the World Record of Excellence in the field of blood donation and encouraged the awardees to further expand the reach of this humanitarian campaign.
The campaign also called upon social activists to promote awareness about organ donation in addition to blood donation, enabling more people to receive life-saving support. The speakers emphasized that fostering a culture of service and donation can help reduce social inequalities while strengthening humanitarian values across society. The programme concluded with a collective appeal to all participants to remain committed to these humanitarian causes, thereby contributing towards building a developed, resilient, and compassionate India.
