Special Kheer Bhog to Be Offered to Shri Ramlala on Sharad Purnima

Ayodhya, । The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple will observe *Sharad Purnima* on Sunday, October 25, with special religious ceremonies dedicated to Shri Ramlala Virajman. As part of the traditional observances, a special *Kheer Bhog* will be offered to the deity late at night, accompanied by devotional singing and customary rituals. Special security arrangements have also been directed for the occasion.

According to Hindu tradition, the full moon on Sharad Purnima is believed to shine with all its sixteen *Kalas* (divine attributes). Devotees traditionally believe that the moonlight on this sacred night carries the essence of *Amrit* (divine nectar). In keeping with this belief, kheer is traditionally placed under the open sky in the moonlight and consumed as *Prasad* after midnight.

Continuing the established tradition, a special offering of kheer will be made to Shri Ramlala Virajman late at night in accordance with customary religious practices. Traditional devotional *Pad Gayan* (singing of devotional compositions) will accompany the celebrations.

*Shri Indradev Mishr, Head of Religious Arrangements at the Shri Ram Temple,* informed that following the evening *Sandhya Aarti*, the *Chal Vigraha* (processional deity) of Shri Ramlala Virajman will be ceremonially taken by the designated temple team to the northern platform located outside the sanctum sanctorum, in the presence of Chief Priest Acharya Keshav. The special Sharad Purnima rituals will be conducted at this designated location.

In view of the religious observances, *Chief Priest Acharya Keshav* formally requested enhanced security arrangements through a letter addressed to the Trust’s Chief Executive Officer, *Air Marshal Jitendra Mishr (Retd.).* Acting on the request, the CEO has issued necessary directions to the concerned security agencies to ensure stringent security measures at the designated venue.
