First Phase of Counselling for Undergraduate and Diploma Programmes at BBAU to Commence from August 12

Lucknow: The first phase of the counselling process for admission to Undergraduate (UG) and Diploma programmes for the academic session 2026–27 at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), Lucknow, will commence from August 12, 2026. The University has released the detailed schedule for the online/offline counselling process.
As per the notification issued by the University, the merit lists under the respective categories will be published on the University website on August 12, 2026. Provisional verification of documents of the candidates included in the merit lists will be conducted on August 13, 2026. Following document verification, challans will be generated through the Samarth Portal for eligible candidates to deposit the admission fee, and the list of candidates for whom challans have been generated will be displayed on the University website.
The last date for depositing the fee for confirmation of provisional admission has been fixed as August 17, 2026. After completion of the first phase of the admission process, the list of vacant seats will be announced on the University website on August 18, 2026.
The University administration has advised candidates to regularly visit the official University website, “https://www.bbau.ac.in/ for the latest updates regarding the counselling and admission process and to complete the required procedures within the stipulated timelines.
