Dress Code Prescribed for BBAU’s 11th Convocation; Angavastram to be Distributed on August 27 and 28

Lucknow: Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), Lucknow, will organize its 11th Convocation-2026 on August 29, 2026. Degrees will be conferred upon students of the academic years 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 during the convocation ceremony. The University has issued guidelines regarding the prescribed dress code and Angavastram for students attending the ceremony.
For male students attending the convocation, cream (whitish) coloured kurta-pajama has been prescribed, while female students are required to wear a cream (whitish) coloured kurta-salwar/churidar or saree. Students have been requested to follow the prescribed dress code while attending the convocation ceremony.
The Angavastram for the convocation ceremony will be provided by the University. The Angavastram will be distributed on August 27 and 28, 2026. On both days, students can collect the Angavastram from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. To receive the Angavastram, students will be required to fill out the prescribed Application Form available on the University website. After submitting the application form, students will be able to collect the Angavastram as per the prescribed procedure.
It will be mandatory for students to return the Angavastram to the University after the convocation ceremony. The Angavastram can be returned on August 29 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on August 30 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
The University administration has appealed to all students receiving degrees to follow the prescribed dress code and take special note of the designated dates and timings for the distribution and return of the Angavastram, so that the arrangements for the convocation ceremony can be carried out smoothly.
