BBAU Releases Detailed Counselling Schedule for Undergraduate Programmes: Registration Open Till July 30

Lucknow: Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), Lucknow, has released the detailed schedule for online/offline counselling for admission to Undergraduate (UG) and Diploma programmes for the academic session 2026–27. According to the public notice issued by the University, interested candidates may complete their registration up to July 30, 2026.
As per the notification, the first merit list will be published on the University’s website by August 12, 2026. Document verification and generation of fee challans will take place on August 13, and candidates must deposit the admission fee by August 17 to confirm their provisional admission. The list of vacant seats after the first round will be announced on August 18.
The second merit list will be released by August 19. Document verification and fee challan generation will be conducted on August 20, while candidates must complete the fee payment by August 24 to confirm their admission. Vacant seats after the second round will be notified on August 25.
The first round of Spot Counselling, exclusively for CUET-qualified candidates, will be held from August 27 to 28, 2026. The last date for payment of the admission fee will be August 29, and the updated status of vacant seats will also be published on the same day.
Thereafter, registration for vacant seats will be open to both CUET and Non-CUET candidates from September 1 to 7, 2026. The second round of Spot Counselling will be conducted on September 8, 2026, while admission fee payment and verification of original documents will be completed on September 9, 2026. According to the University administration, classes for first-year students will commence from September 10, 2026.
The University has appealed to all candidates to strictly adhere to the prescribed schedule, complete all admission-related formalities within the stipulated time, and regularly visit the University’s official website, https://www.bbau.ac.in/, for the latest updates and notifications.
