BBAU Organises Hindi Typing Competition under ‘Rajbhasha Hindi Utsav-2026’

Lucknow: Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), Lucknow, organised a Hindi Typing Competition on September 24 under the ‘Rajbhasha Hindi Utsav-2026’, organised by the Hindi Cell of the University. The objective of the competition was to promote the use of Hindi and encourage interest and proficiency in Hindi typing among the University’s officers, employees and participants. Dr. Preeti Rai and Mr. Ram Kumar Gupta were present as judges for the competition. Dr. Sandhya Dixit and Dr. Abhishek Verma were also present on the occasion.
During the competition, participants demonstrated their typing speed and proficiency by typing in Hindi within the stipulated time. The participants were evaluated on the basis of their typing speed, accuracy and ability to complete the assigned task within the time.
The judges evaluated the performance of the participants and highlighted the importance of regular practice in Hindi typing and the greater use of Hindi in official work.
The programme aimed to create awareness among the participants about Rajbhasha Hindi and encourage the use of Hindi in day-to-day and official work. The winners of the competition will be felicitated during the concluding session of the ‘Rajbhasha Hindi Utsav-2026’.
