BBAU Achieves Remarkable Success in IIRF Rankings 2026: School of Law Secures 1st Rank in Uttar Pradesh and 9th in India; Management Ranked 7th Among Central Universities

Lucknow: Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) has added another significant achievement to its academic excellence by performing exceptionally well in the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) 2026. The University’s School of Law has secured the 9th position among the top law institutions in the country and has emerged as the No. 1 law institution in Uttar Pradesh. Additionally, BBAU has secured the 7th rank among Central Universities in the Management category, reaffirming the University’s academic excellence and strength in management education. It is noteworthy that BBAU has also been ranked 19th among Central Universities at the national level in the overall category.
Expressing his delight over this remarkable achievement, Prof. Raj Kumar Mittal, Vice-Chancellor of BBAU, congratulated all faculty members, officers, staff, research scholars, and students. He stated that securing the 1st rank in Uttar Pradesh and 9th rank nationally in the Law category, along with the 7th rank among Central Universities in the Management category in the IIRF 2026 rankings, is a matter of immense pride and satisfaction for the University. He emphasized that these accomplishments reflect the dedication of the faculty, the hard work of the students, high-quality teaching, impactful research, innovation, and the University’s continuous efforts toward institutional development. The IIRF evaluates higher educational institutions based on several parameters, including Teaching and Learning Resources, Research Quality and Impact, Placement Performance, Industry and Institutional Collaboration, Career Support Services, Future Orientation, and National and International Reputation. BBAU has secured these distinguished rankings across different categories by demonstrating excellence in all these key performance indicators.
