Admission Process Begins for 12 Paid Seats in LL.M. (Human Rights) at BBAU; Apply Online by October 14
Lucknow: Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), Lucknow, has commenced the online application process for admission to 12 paid seats in the LL.M. (Human Rights) programme for the academic session 2026–27. According to the notice issued by the university administration, interested candidates can register through the Samarth portal until October 14, 2026. Both CUET and Non-CUET candidates are eligible to apply under this admission process.
For admission, candidates have been divided into two categories based on their eligibility. Category I includes candidates who have appeared for the CUET examination and fulfil the domain-specific requirements prescribed in the university’s Admission Brochure 2026–27. Category II includes candidates who have not appeared for the CUET examination or those who have appeared for the examination but do not fulfil the prescribed domain-specific requirements. Candidates under both categories are required to register through the respective Samarth portals. The last date for registration for both categories is October 14, 2026.
The registration fee has been fixed at ₹500 for candidates belonging to the Unreserved (UR), Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) categories. Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories are required to pay a registration fee of ₹300.
The university administration has advised all interested candidates to carefully read the Postgraduate Programmes Admission Prospectus 2026–27 and the Hostel Manual available on the university’s official website, www.bbau.ac.in, before submitting their applications.
