NCC Boys Cadets Enrollment Successfully Conducted at BBAU: Physical Test, 1600-Metre Run and Written Examination Held

Lucknow: The enrollment process for NCC Boys Cadets was successfully conducted at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), Lucknow, on September 14, 2026. During the enrollment process, the physical fitness and eligibility of the candidates were assessed. Associate NCC Officer Lieutenant Dr. Manoj Kumar Dadhwal along with Subedar Shiv Kumar Singh and Havaldar Pankaj Pandey from 67 UP Battalion NCC, Lucknow. The enrollment process was conducted under the guidance and supervision of Colonel Deepak Dayal, Commanding Officer, 67 UP Battalion.
As part of the selection process, the candidates underwent physical measurements, including height and weight assessment, a 1600-metre run, and a written examination. The candidates were evaluated on the basis of their physical fitness and other prescribed eligibility criteria.
Associate NCC Officer Lieutenant Dr. Manoj Kumar Dadhwal stated that NCC is an important platform for developing discipline, leadership qualities, self-confidence, and a spirit of service to the nation among students. He said that by joining NCC, students not only become physically and mentally stronger but also develop a sense of responsibility and team spirit. Through NCC, the University will provide students with opportunities for personality development and to make an active contribution towards nation-building.
