BBAU Initiative to Promote Deep-Tech Innovation; Discussions Held on Research Projects and Proposals

Lucknow: Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) organized a programme on the theme “Deep-Tech Innovation Challenge” on August 18 under the aegis of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), jointly organized by the Lab and Community Committee and the Research and Development Cell. The programme was attended by Prof. R.D. Tripathi from CSIR–National Botanical Research Institute as the Chief Guest. Prof. Naveen Kumar Arora, Chairman, Institution’s Innovation Council, Prof. Shishir Kumar, Director, Research and Development Cell, Prof. Prashant Kumar Trivedi, Department of Sociology, Prof. Santosh Kumar, Dr. Lata Bajpai Singh, program Convenor and Dr. Krishna Murari. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and floral tribute to the portrait of Babasaheb Ambedkar. Following the university anthem, the organizing committee expressed its gratitude to the guests and faculty members by presenting them with bouquets and saplings. At the outset, Prof. Shishir Kumar welcomed all the guests and participants and briefed them about the objectives and outline of the programme.
During the programme, participants presented their ongoing research projects and research proposals before the experts. They provided detailed insights into their research topics, objectives, research methodologies, progress made so far, and potential findings. Following the presentations, the experts evaluated each research project and interacted with the participants, offering valuable suggestions to make their research more effective, qualitative, and relevant. The experts guided the participants on various aspects, including the relevance of research topics, appropriate use of data, research methodology, clarity of results, and the practical impact of the research. The participants received important guidance on making necessary improvements to their research proposals and projects and giving their research a more innovative and outcome-oriented direction. The session provided participants with an opportunity to identify the shortcomings in their research work, develop new perspectives, and further strengthen their research by learning from the experience and expertise of the experts.
At the conclusion of the programme, the organizing committee presented mementoes to the guests as a token of appreciation. Dr. Lata Bajpai Singh delivered the vote of thanks.
The programme was attended by Prof. Taruna, Head, Department of Management Studies, along with other faculty members, research scholars, participants, and students.
