Sanitation Dialogue with Sanitation Workers Organised at BBAU under ‘Swachhata Hi Seva-2026’

Lucknow: Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University organised a Sanitation Dialogue with sanitation workers on September 18 under the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva-2026’ programme, being conducted under the guidance and patronage of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Raj Kumar Mittal. The programme aimed to promote awareness about cleanliness on the university campus and to establish a meaningful dialogue on the significant role of sanitation workers in creating a clean and healthy environment.

On the occasion, a dialogue was held with the sanitation workers on various aspects related to cleanliness. Discussions were also held on the efforts being undertaken to make the sanitation system on the university campus more effective, enhance awareness about cleanliness and maintain a clean environment. Emphasising the importance of cleanliness, everyone was encouraged to maintain cleanliness at their workplace and in the surrounding areas and to create awareness among others as well. The contribution of sanitation workers towards maintaining cleanliness was also highlighted, along with the importance of collective participation in making the cleanliness campaign successful.
Dr. Ravi Shankar Verma, In-charge, Sanitation, university employees, sanitation workers and students were present on the occasion. The participants also resolved to make cleanliness an integral part of their daily lives and to actively contribute towards keeping the university campus clean and beautiful.
