Prof. Mittal stated that contributing to the development of the country does not necessarily mean working only at a large scale; every individual can play an important role in nation-building by fulfilling their responsibilities at their own level. He encouraged young people to work towards becoming sensitive and responsible citizens by giving priority to environmental protection, social concerns and human values. He said that this would be a true tribute to all those known and unknown individuals who dedicated their lives to the country’s freedom and a better future.
